Everyone who comes to Western Lodge has different experiences, needs and goals. Our support is therefore shaped around each resident, helping them find stability, overcome personal challenges and prepare for a more independent future.
What We Do
Support for Every Step Forward
Every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and hope.
Who We Support
Western Lodge provides supported accommodation for single men aged 30 and over who are experiencing homelessness and need help to regain stability.
The men who come to us have a wide range of experiences. These may include alcohol dependency, poor mental health, relationship or family breakdown, social isolation and extended periods without a secure home.
Every resident arrives with their own story, strengths and ambitions. We look beyond the circumstances that brought them to Western Lodge and provide support shaped around the individual.
Western Lodge is a medium-support, alcohol- and drug-free environment. Residents live in self-contained accommodation and are encouraged to take an active role in their recovery and plans for the future.

“This has been a lifeline for me as I didn’t think I could do this on my own.
Western Lodge is MAGIC.”

Trinity Homeless Support Café
The Trinity Homeless Support Café is a collaborative project run by volunteers from the Holy Trinity Church and volunteers from Western Lodge. The Support Cafe runs on Mondays between 2pm and 4pm. The service is an informal drop-in session that offers support and guidance for members of the local community experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
The drop in service offers:
- Advice from professionals on housing, benefits, national insurance, and health. Light refreshments and a chance to have an informal chat.
- The opportunity to speak with people who have experienced homelessness. Feel free to drop by.
If you are interested in volunteering your time please drop us an email to express your interest.
